Allure Bathrooms, Mitcham

Agero designed Mitcham as more than a single showroom - a repeatable concept built to roll out across future Allure Bathrooms stores, delivered through a tight tenant handover without losing pace or budget.

DESIGNED ONCE. READY TO ROLL OUT EVERYWHERE.

The Challenge

Allure Bathrooms didn’t just need a single showroom fitted out, they needed proof of concept. The Mitcham design had to work as a store in its own right, but also as a template that could be repeated efficiently as Allure expanded to new locations, solving for cost, buildability and speed all at once without losing the showroom experience customers expect from a bathroomware retailer.

Adding to the pressure, the handover between the outgoing tenant and Allure moving in was tight, leaving little margin once the site was actually released.

The Solution

Agero was engaged for the initial concept design, treating Mitcham as the template rather than a one-off. Delivered under a Construction Manager model, Agero worked directly with Allure Bathrooms and their preferred tradespeople, aligning the design around trades the client already trusted to keep delivery cost-effective and fast.

That approach meant the concept was proven at Mitcham, not just approved on paper, a full design and construct solution for a large format retail store, resolved early enough that the tight handover between outgoing and incoming tenant didn’t cost Allure a single day of trading. The result is a rollout-ready framework Allure Bathrooms can now take to its next site.
