A Collaborative Workplace for Assurant’s New Era

The Challenge

Relocating Assurant’s head office to a new site presented the dual challenge of creating a workplace that supported collaboration and focus, while managing construction within a live, multi-tenant building.

Noise control, phased scheduling, and minimising disruptions to other tenants were critical to ensuring the fit-out process was smooth and efficient.

The design also had to strike a balance between open, collaborative areas and private workspaces to meet the diverse needs of employees.

Meeting rooms and specialised calibration areas were positioned for optimal functionality, and the kitchen and breakout spaces fostered social interaction and team-building. The construction process prioritised minimal disruption, using noise management strategies and precise scheduling to accommodate the needs of other tenants.

The result is a vibrant, flexible workspace that enhances productivity, encourages cross-departmental collaboration, and supports Assurant’s operational goals, all achieved with careful attention to the complexities of an active building environment.
